About The Position
As our Home Health Billing Specialist, you will oversee all aspects of the billing process, work closely with clinical and administrative staff to maintain efficient revenue cycle operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in home health billing (management experience a plus)
- Detailed knowledge of Medicare billing regulations, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience with Wellsky/Kinnser EMR and billing software systems
- Excellent management, communication, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Nice To Haves
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) from AAPC, a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily billing operations for home health agency services
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims to Medicare and private insurers
- Monitor accounts receivable and lead follow-up on unpaid claims
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations
- Analyze billing data and generate financial reports
- Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and maximize reimbursement
