Requirements

  • A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.

  • Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
  • The commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
  • Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board (training available).

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
  • Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
  • Prepare and feed meals.
  • Assist with range of motion/exercises.
  • Assist with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
  • Provide medication reminders and assistance.
  • Perform vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration.
