We are currently recruiting for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to reliably serve patients in the following counties [Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem] in BAYADA’s ACSP Division. Requirements

  • A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
  • A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
  • Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
  • Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
  • The commitment to deliver patient care as you would want those you love to be treated, with compassion, excellence, and reliability – The BAYADA Way.
  • Minimum one year work experience.
  • Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous home health care or patient care welcomed, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services following a written plan of care by a registered nurse.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
  • Provide household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
  • Prepare and assist with feeding meals.
  • Assist with range of motion exercises.
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and the use of mechanical lifting devices.
  • Provide medication reminders and assistance.
  • Perform vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration).
