Your role as a Home Health Aide As a Home Health Aide at Skyline Center, Inc., your role is pivotal in providing compassionate personal care and essential services to clients in their homes. Working under the guidance of our supervising nurse and Home Health Administrator, you'll embody our agency’s philosophy by promoting good personal hygiene and a safe, healthful environment. You'll plan and prepare nutritious meals while supporting ambulation and specific treatments as directed by physicians and approved by our nursing team. Encouraging client independence according to their care plan is key, along with offering emotional support to both clients and their families. Your ability to establish trusting relationships fosters a sense of confidentiality and comfort. You’ll also document your visits, collaborate with community agencies, and perform routine housekeeping tasks—all to ensure a warm and inviting atmosphere. This position allows you to make meaningful contributions to the lives of others while reinforcing our mission of community support and empowerment.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic oral and written communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Reliable vehicle with current insurance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
  • CPR and First Aid Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
