About The Position

The Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence. Essential Functions: Personal Care with ADLs and IADLs Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair), change of position, with toileting. Companion/Sitter/Household Management Provide companionship and respite services for family Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients Client is a man in 80s and the family needs immediate assistance for 4-5 hours daily/3 days a week. Occasional Transportation to run errands within 5 mile radius once a week.

Requirements

High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
Clean background with no history.
Willing to keep client active
Good at communicating
Have driver's license and car
Previous Home Health Aide/PCA Experience required
