About The Position

We're hiring compassionate, dependable Home Health Aides (HHA) for ongoing care positions providing essential in-home support to our clients. This role is ideal for caregivers who are passionate about helping others maintain their comfort, dignity, and independence at home while building meaningful connections with the people they care for. Caregivers in this role will assist clients with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and other daily personal care needs , as well as provide light housekeeping, companionship, and assistance with everyday activities to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. Current schedule available is 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM , with scheduling available a ny day between Monday through Sunday . Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Minimum one (1) year of documented home care assistance and/or direct care experience at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, etc., is preferred
Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance (proof of insurance is required)
Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
Ability to adhere to HIPAA and ensure confidentiality and security of the client's medical information
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
Up-to-date vaccinations including COVID-19, Influenza, and Hepatitis B

Successful completion of a nursing assistant or certified home health aide program

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care tasks bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and other daily personal care needs , as well as provide light housekeeping, companionship, and assistance with everyday activities
Assist with everyday activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and errands.
Light housekeeping and meal preparation
Monitor and report changes in client condition
Follow care plans and communicate with case managers
Provide client-facing care as assigned
Provide assistance with daily tasks as directed in the client's personalized plan of care, including but not limited to: feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
Provide companionship, personal and hygiene care as directed in the client's personalized plan of care, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, and assisting with measurements, if necessary
Adhere to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment
Adhere to HIPAA laws and ensure confidentiality and security of the client's medical information
