Senior Helpers has added new clients in Oxford, FL and is hiring for immediate starts on all shifts. Long shifts available. Starting pay is $15 per hour with extra pay for weekend and holiday shifts. Flexible schedules available Senior Helpers is seeking committed, caring and qualified CNAs, Home Health Aides and Caregivers to support our growing number of clients with quality personal, in-home care. Job Description Caregivers at Senior Helpers provide personal care services for our clients that enable them to safely and comfortably remain in their homes. Caregiver duties include helping clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, eating, grooming and toileting. Examples include: Companionship (playing games, talking, going for walks) Light housekeeping, including laundry Meal planning and preparation Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as showering, eating, and grooming Transfer assistance between bed, chairs, wheelchairs, etc. Transportation to appointments and errands Medication reminders
Requirements
- Previous professional experience providing personal care, specifically for a private-duty home care agency or in a care facility
- Valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID
- Level 2 Background Screen from the State of Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA).
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Active CPR certification from an in-person, hands-on American Heart Association certified course.
- Reliable transportation to and from shifts
- Excellent communication skills with a kind, caring and compassionate demeanor
