About The Position

We are seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to work with our geriatric and pediatric clients, one-on-one, in a professional and compassionate manner at their home in the surrounding areas of Pottstown, PA. The available shifts are up to 40-hours available! Full-time or Part-time hours available! Monday through Friday available with weekend availability too! Additional clients available in the surrounding areas! Personal Health Care is a Medicare Certified Home Health Agency founded in 1981. We provide non-medical and skilled nursing care to clients in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties. Requirements

2 years of verifiable Home Care or Facility experience
Form of transportation to client's residence
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Must pass State and Federal background checks
Must have up-to-date Physical and Two-Step PPD or Chest X-ray
Must pass Home Health Aide pre-employment Test
Minimum Education required High School diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

Valid PA Driver's License preferred

Responsibilities

Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
Plan and prepare meals
Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
Be pleasant and supportive companion
Report any unusual incidents
