About The Position

Are you a compassionate caregiver with a heart for helping others? As a Home Care Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) providing in-home care, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our participants receive the highest quality care. From assisting with daily activities to providing comfort and companionship, your work will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A current and valid Michigan CNA Certification (a must!)
  • Reliable transportation and a valid Michigan driver’s license .
  • CPR Certified, if not we can help!
  • At least 1 year of experience working with older adults.
  • A heart for helping others and the physical ability to lift, stand, bend, transfer, stretch, walk, push, and pull as needed.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds frequently is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Hands-On Care – Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support Mealtime– Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
  • Keep Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
  • Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
  • Maintain Comfort & Care – Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
  • Provide Responsive Support – Answer call lights quickly and respond with kindness and compassion.
  • Monitor with Watchful Eyes – Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
  • Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.
