About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Attendants to provide exceptional care and support to clients in Benton, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus but not needed
- Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
- Ability to pass background checks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Help clients with mobility and transferring safely
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to the supervisor
- Follow care plans and safety procedures meticulously
