Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year of hands-on caregiving experience in a home care, assisted living, or similar setting
Active and valid California Home Care Aide (HCA) certification (required)
Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful toward clients and families
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow individualized care plans, document care accurately, and work collaboratively with a team
Reliable, professional, and committed to providing high-quality care

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
Assist with safe transfers and ambulation as needed
Provide medication reminders in accordance with care plans
Prepare meals and assist with proper nutrition and hydration
Offer companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social engagement
Accompany clients to appointments or activities when required
Observe, document, and promptly report any changes in a client’s health, behavior, or condition to the care team
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for clients
