Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous caregiving or related experience preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and work well with a team.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Help with mobility, transfers, and walking assistance.
- Meal Preparation Assist with meal planning and preparation according to dietary needs.
- Encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
- Companionship Provide friendly conversation and emotional support.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social activities when needed.
- Health Monitoring Observe and report any changes in the client's condition.
- Document care provided and important observations.
