Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous caregiving or related experience preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow care plans and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Personal Care Assistance Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Help with mobility, transfers, and walking assistance.
  • Meal Preparation Assist with meal planning and preparation according to dietary needs.
  • Encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
  • Companionship Provide friendly conversation and emotional support.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social activities when needed.
  • Health Monitoring Observe and report any changes in the client's condition.
  • Document care provided and important observations.
