About The Position

SUMMARY This is a Full Time position for an HOA Laborer that will work closely with the Golf Course Maintenance team. HOURS/DAYS Hours and days fluctuate accordingly to the needs of H.O.A. and club grounds. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · Safely operates equipment such as push mowers and riding mowers used for mowing lawns, common areas and lake banks. · Operates hedge trimmers, weed eater, stick edger, vacuums and blowers. · Cleans and inspects machinery after each use. · Fertilizes turf grass areas with a walk spreader. · Reports machinery/equipment problems to the supervisor. · Loads and unloads materials. · Trim trees and remove cuttings. · Collects debris from throughout the property and empties litter cans. · Cleans gutters, drains and culverts. · Water plants. · Cut grass, weeds bed, rakes leaves and trims bushes. · Informs supervisor of any malfunctions or damage to private resident or common ground property. · Performs tasks in compliance with established departmental safety program for employees · Attend any and all department meetings. · All other duties as assigned. EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS USED Power vehicles and mowers, electric and fuel power tools, hand tools, radios. Active, physical work involves heavy lifting (+50) pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, walking long distances, driving and operating equipment for extended periods of time. Requires focus adjustment, depth perception, clear close and distant vision. Use of ear protection, eye protection and other safety equipment.
