About The Position

HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in the overhaul and repair of aircraft components, is looking for a Fuel Technician to join our talented technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is meticulous and technically minded to work hands-on with aviation components in a fast-paced, FAA-regulated environment. This position is responsible for the inspection, disassembly, overhaul, repair, reassembly, testing, and documentation of aircraft fuel components in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards. In this position, the ideal candidate will have direct experience working on fuel systems and HMUs within a Part 145 Repair Station. Requirements

  • High School or GED required
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience repairing HMU components
  • Strong understanding of fuel systems and fuel control operation
  • Experience using measuring tools
  • Knowledge of FAA documentation and requirements
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting
  • Ability to work around fuels, solvents, and other chemicals while wearing the appropriate PPE
  • Ability to work in a shop environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to mechanical equipment
