About The Position

ROLE The HMDA/Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for the bank’s mortgage data that is collected and reported in accordance with HMDA regulatory requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS This position is responsible for the following functions: Loan Documentation and Reports Facilitate the collection of HMDA data from mortgage, consumer, and commercial loans Collaborate with Compliance Department to ensure accuracy of HMDA LAR Prepare and submit annual HMDA LAR Verify accuracy of documentation for various loan types Provide branch support for questions and account research Maintain knowledge of loan policies and procedures Coordinate with management to communicate and train employees on HMDA requirements Customer Service Demonstrate a commitment to PBT’s customer service philosophy Provide courteous service to loan and deposit customers in person, over the phone, and through email communications Various other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of loan services offered by Peoples Bank and Trust
  • Understanding of all PBT policies and procedures related to loan services provided
  • Knowledge of reports required to maintain and review HMDA data submissions
