HMA Plant Operator II
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You’ll Be Doing Operate and monitor asphalt plant systems to ensure safe, efficient production. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to support reliability. Adjust plant controls to achieve targeted mix specifications and production levels. Maintain accurate production, quality, and maintenance records. Support safe site operations by following established policies and participating in housekeeping efforts.
Requirements
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot fixed and mobile equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain mix quality and equipment performance.
- Capability to work independently and collaborate with plant and field teams.
- Willingness to learn plant processes, control systems, and safety procedures.
- Commitment to dependable attendance and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
