About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Histology Technologist for a night-shift travel assignment at a high-volume, Level III Trauma, Magnet-designated teaching laboratory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly skilled in embedding and microtomy, and comfortable working overnight rotations.

Requirements

• ASCP-HT certification (active) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent histology lab experience
• Strong expertise in tissue processing and precision cutting
• Epic charting experience required
• Minnesota state license (pending license accepted)
• Travel candidates only – must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers not considered

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume embedding and microtomy with precision
• Handle GI, large/small specimens, skin, fatty, and hard tissues
• Operate manual and automated microtomes, cryostats, and paraffin systems
• Prepare slides and perform Hematoxylin & Eosin (H&E) staining
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic/Excellian
