Part-Time Histology Technician
About The Position
Our group is seeking a talented histology technician for our pathology lab located in Charlotte, NC. This is a part-time position perfect for a highly motivated histology professional. The ideal candidate has experience working in a variety of histology lab settings and is familiar with manual and automated histology techniques. Must be a quick learner, flexible, a confident microtomist, have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills. In addition, the ideal candidate must be able to work independently. Major responsibilities include: Embedding Cutting Assisting with grossing/processing/staining as needed.
Requirements
- Associates Degree with at least 60 science credits
- 5+ Years experience as a Hitoloogy Technician

- Bachelors Degree
- ASCP Certification
