About The Position

This position has primary responsibility for recruiting and training for Assisting Hands Greater Murray®. The Hiring Manager primary responsibility is to recruit high quality caregivers, onboard and train them. Mentoring caregivers after onboarding is a secondary responsibility.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • CNA in good standing with 2 years of experience required
  • Track record in recruiting needed
  • Having worked as a caregiver and as a CNA a must
  • training and mentoring caregivers required
  • Must be a good problem solver and able to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be well-organized and have good attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Recruits and onboards several caregivers every week
  • Provides orientation and training to new caregivers
  • Keep all caregivers file up to date and in compliance
  • Handles/resolves caregiver issues, problems and scheduling changes
  • Counsels caregivers regarding attendance or performance issues
  • Matches appropriate caregivers to clients based on personality, availability, and skill set
  • Makes sure that all cases are covered and arranges for substitute/back-up coverage as necessary.
  • May occasionally cover a shift
  • Other duties as may arise
  • Participates in on-call rotation as needed.
