About The Position

This person is responsible for all of the hiring needs in the restaurant and partnering with other leaders in the business to ensure they understand hiring needs. This person must have great people skills, understand how to vet candidates and conduct interviews and interview candidates. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for vetting all applications and candidates applying for roles through HR Workstream
  • Schedule and conduct all interviews for potential new hires
  • Conduct reference checks on potential new hires
  • Conduct appropriate outreach to ensure strong pipelines for robust hiring goals
  • Represent Chick-fil-A Jett Ferry at local hiring related events such as career fairs and/or Support Center opportunities
  • Onboard all new team members ensuring documents are accurate and in compliance with Georgia laws and Chick-fil-A regulations
  • Coordinate and execute new hire orientation
  • Ensure E-Verify is completed on all employees prior to their start date
  • Order uniforms for all new hires, including shoes
  • Ensure all work opportunity credits are completed and in system before first day of work for qualifying team members
  • Verify team members under the age of 16 have work permit on file
  • Communicate with all directors regarding hiring needs in areas of the business
  • Foster relationship with Metro Transitional Center
  • Hold team members accountable to Chick-fil-A standards alongside of directors
  • Partner with Training Manager to ensure smooth transition from onboarding stage to training stage
