About The Position

Abcor Home Health, Inc., is growing and we are hiring a Hiring Coordinator to join our team in our Chicago, IL (North Side) office. If you are a results-driven individual who enjoys building relationships and thrives in a fast-paced environment we want to speak to you! Ideally, we are looking for someone with home care experience who understands the home care environment and needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Professional phone demeanor and strong interpersonal skills who enjoys talking to people!!
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to multi-task and organize work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Must be able to work well independently and in a team
  • Must be able to make independent decisions
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • General knowledge of data entry and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
  • Bi-lingual Spanish required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior recruiting experience is a plus
  • Prior homecare experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • This position supports our Homecare team and involves extensive telephone work to support caregiver hiring and onboarding in a high-volume environment.
  • The Hiring Coordinator will manage caregiver onboarding, support caregiver file compliance and provide general administrative support to the office.
  • Perform recruitment activities to ensure proper caregiver staffing levels by working closely with branch management to support client census growth
  • Process applicant background and reference checks
  • Ensure applicants complete the required training and onboarding requirements
  • Facilitate orientations and ensure completion of new hire paperwork
  • Support annual employee file compliance according to state requirements
  • Assist with recruitment campaigns, and retention programs
  • Supports field recruiting activities or job fairs, as needed
  • Supports supervisors with annual required documentation and performance evaluations for caregivers
  • Greets and assists visitors in the office
