About The Position
The Health Information Specialist II is responsible for indexing all clinic and hospital documents, as well as uploading documentation from various external devices into the electronic health record.
Requirements
- Wisconsin residents only eligible to apply
- Completion of medical terminology course within one year of hire.
- One year in healthcare environment, preferably in HIM department.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of medical terminology course at time of hire.
- Experience with electronic health record systems strongly preferred.
