JOB SUMMARY/ESSESNTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work within client’s EMR to review and organize charts for healthcare organizations Handle data entry and recovering patient charts HIM Department functional support in regards to Prep, Scan and QC tasks Adhere to strict productivity and quality guidelines set forth by e4health and/or Client Implement productivity tracking guidelines based upon Client needs ONSITE M-F
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Health Information Management program with certification as an RHIA or RHIT with related experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of hospital and medical complexity capture and coding, release of information, electronic health records, and Joint Commission Information Management accreditations.
- Meditech EHR experience required
- working knowledge of Excel
