The HIM ROI Analyst, Release of Records is responsible for processing all release of information requests for medical information for the Hospital in a timely and efficient manner. Understand and abide by the State and Federal guidelines, HIPAA, Title X, and 1976 Privacy Act. Stay informed of changing legislation affecting Release of Information processes. At all times safeguard and protect the patient's right to privacy by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to minimum necessary medical information. Ensure all disclosures are documented and are in compliance with the request, authorization, Hospital policy and the State and Federal regulations. #LI-DNI The preferred candidate will have prior experience with the release of Pediatric Medical Records. Prefer a Notary Public certification at time of hire. Incumbent must be able to work at our Riverside, MO location.
