About The Position
The Health Information Analyst functions as an integral member of the health information management team by ensuring the quality maintenance of medical records and patient information, within the standards set up by the department and the facility. This position will focus primarily on inpatient chart processing but should be able to move on to outpatient chart processing and release of information procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and audit access to patient records
- Assure data integrity, make chart corrections when required, and
- Assure that records are kept in a manner that is in compliance with government and regulatory agencies.
