About The Position

HIM CLERK WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Preparing patient surgical charts and gathering information documents from
patients.
Ensuring that the medical records / surgical charts are organized, accurate
and complete.
Management and filing of patient records, paperwork and reports.
Safeguarding patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with HIPAA
standards.
Collaborating with Nursing staff to obtain a required pre admission documents
in advance of scheduled surgery.
Assisting Pre-Op and PACU with records/document needs.
