The Hiking Guide/Outdoor Sports Guide will lead hikes, biking, and adventure activities in stunning natural settings, engaging guests while ensuring their safety and enjoyment on hikes of varying lengths. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid state driver's license with no moving violations for the previous 3 years
- Enjoy spending time with people and being able to carry the conversation easily and engagingly
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of experience in guiding, recreation, sports or customer service
- Special interest or knowledge in astronomy, mountain biking, or birding
- Background, interest or skills in art, meditation, or astronomy
Responsibilities
- Lead hikes, biking and adventure activities in stunning natural settings
- Engage guests while ensuring their safety and enjoyment on hikes with varying lengths
- Learn and teach climbing, cycling & mountain biking, archery, ropes courses, night vision hikes, naturalist hikes, and various outdoor adventure programming
- Safely operate a 15-passenger van and other equipment
