By joining our Engineering Support Branch as a Highway Traffic Technician Assistant in Jefferson County, you'll have the opportunity to you'll have the opportunity to assist qualified staff in the installing or repairing traffic signals or lighting devices and learn to perform work on all critical electrical traffic control devices required. Summary of Responsibilities: Will learn to place temporary traffic control devices Learns to perform work on all critical electrical traffic control devices Assist qualified employees with on-call duties \& emergency calls. Perform visual inspections of electrical devices and lighting Repair nonhazardous energized traffic signal items in traffic signal cabinet Ideal candidate will have experience in: Valid drivers license High school diploma or equivalent Benefits and Perks: Comprehensive health with optional dental and vision insurance.
