About The Position

Sagemont Preparatory School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Social Studies Teacher to join our collaborative team in supporting our high school students. As a Social Studies Teacher, you will guide students in mastering skills through engaging and innovative lessons. You will be responsible for creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that fosters academic growth and personal responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in History or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2+ years of teaching experience at the middle or high school level.
• Strong ability to present social studies concepts with clarity and confidence.
• Commitment to building supportive relationships with students both in and beyond the classroom.
• Ability to pass both state and federal background check

• Regularly monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance.
