About The Position

In-person Science Tutor will support 11th and 12th grade students in strengthening their understanding of key science concepts and reinforcing classroom instruction. The tutor will work directly with students during the school day, providing academic support, answering questions, and helping students stay engaged with course material. This program runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Passion for Learning: Committed to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
• Strong Academics: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Committed and Flexible: Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school and participate in monthly training.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work closely with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.
