About The Position
Ector County ISD was created by a special act of the Texas Legislature in August 1921. The District is in its second century of inspiring and challenging every student to be prepared for success and to be adaptable in an ever -changing society. Today, ECISD is made up of 42 schools plus additional campuses for Career & Technical Education, and educates more than 33,000 students placing it among the largest school districts in Texas. Our District earned a Superior Achievement rating, which is equivalent to a grade of A. FIRST is designed to encourage public schools to better manage their financial resources to provide the maximum allocation possible for direct instructional purposes.
