As an ISC Manufacturing Intern here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing operations and develop your guide skills. You will work closely with our ISC team to facilitate production activities, ensure quality standards are met, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the world of manufacturing and supply chain management. You will report directly to our ISC Manufacturing Supervisor, and you will work out of our designated manufacturing facility in Redmond, Washington. This is a full-time internship position. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Learn and apply lean manufacturing ethics to optimize production processes - Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements - Assist in monitoring and analyzing production metrics to drive efficiency and productivity - Facilitate the implementation of quality control measures to ensure product quality - Participate in problem-solving activities to address production issues and minimize downtime. Under immediate supervision, this position is responsible for the assembly of electronic equipment and integration into systems. Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly. May conduct quality inspection on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, limited rework, reassemble and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. At an entry level, follows well defined procedures and is able to read and write English proficiently.

Requirements

  • Be a US Person.
  • Be enrolled in the Aerospace Assembly Specialist program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology.
  • Be interested in full-time employment immediately upon high school graduation.
  • Be proficient in reading and writing in the English language.
  • Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
