About The Position
You are a dynamic and optimistic high school foreign language teacher who can inspire and motivate struggling students while challenging high-performing students. Collaborative team player who maintains a growth mindset and centers student wellness. Experience designing and implementing curriculum that is engaging for students and meets the diverse needs of students. Willing to teach a variety of courses within your certification to meet the needs of the school. Excited to be an active and involved member of our supportive and inclusive school community.
Requirements
- Cover Letter (addressed to Dr. Jorge Munoz, Principal of Arcadia High School)
- Resume
- A minimum of three (3) current letters of recommendation
- Detailed Copy of Single Subject credential authorizing instruction in Foreign Language Mandarin Chinese(must be current and reflect valid expiration dates) or university letter of credential recommendation date included
- EL Certification (CLAD, ELA 1, ELAS, etc)
- Transcripts - BA/BS degree and beyond
- CSET Copies or other Subject Matter verification

- Experience with struggling learners and Advanced Placement instruction is highly valued.
