About The Position

Seeking an English Teacher proficient in the ability to teach English levels I and II. Responsibilities Include: Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction that is tightly aligned with NC State standards. Designs lessons based on best practices with clear learning targets and measurable goals aligned with state standards and/or unit outcomes. Participate in PLCs to collaboratively plan and prepare with colleagues. Conveys high expectations while using multiple effective strategies, materials, and classroom practices that involve and motivate students while differentiating instruction to meet students' needs. Be self-reflection on instructional practice and areas for growth to continually improve instruction and best practices. Be a proactive teacher identifying gaps and working with an instructional coach to close gaps in classroom management, relationship building, and classroom instruction.

Requirements
