About The Position

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a High School Dual Enrollment Coordinator for the Office of the Registrar. - Boca Raton, FL. Dual Enrollment is a program that allows eligible high school students to earn credit toward high school graduation and future college degree programs. Summary of Responsibilities: Serve as the primary liaison between the university and partner high schools, districts, students, and parents regarding dual enrollment programs and policies. Coordinate admission and enrollment processes for high school dual enrollment students and assist with other non-degree populations. Advise dual enrollment students and families on eligibility requirements, academic policies, and course selection. Ensure compliance with state statutes, articulation agreements, institutional policies, and accreditation requirements. Process and verify student eligibility documentation, including applications, test scores, transcripts, and enrollment certifications. Manage tuition waivers, fee exemptions, invoicing, and billing processes related to dual enrollment students. Monitor student enrollment, academic progress, and participation trends; prepare reports for institutional and state compliance purposes. Ensure non-degree populations are accurately configured in the student information system to support registration. Develop and maintain program communications, webpages, guides, and outreach materials. Prepare and deliver in-person and/or virtual orientation and information sessions. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance student experience and operational efficiency. Support FERPA compliance and ensure proper handling of confidential student records. Assist the department with commencement ceremonies and related activities. Support the department with academic record maintenance and updates as needed. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using student information systems such as Banner and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
