2026 High School Assistant Varsity Track Coach - Propel High Schools (3 Locations)
About The Position
Propel Schools is seeking an Assistant Varsity Track Coach for the 2026 Spring season at three locations: Propel Braddock Hills High School, Andrew Street High School, and Montour High School Successful candidates will have: Prior track coaching experience on the varsity, junior varsity, and/or middle school level Must possess effective coaching technique and skills Must possess knowledge of rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport Responsibility of coordinating a high school track program with the head coach and athletic director High level of personal organization and planning Strong communication and relationship building skills with student-athletes & families Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development A commitment to the Promising Principles of Propel
Requirements
- Up-to-date TB Test
- Act 34 Criminal Clearance
- Act 114 FBI Clearance
- Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
- Mandated Reporter Training
- Prior track coaching experience on the varsity, junior varsity, and/or middle school level
- Must possess effective coaching technique and skills
- Must possess knowledge of rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
- High level of personal organization and planning
- Strong communication and relationship building skills with student-athletes & families
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
- A commitment to the Promising Principles of Propel
Nice To Haves
- student-athlete experience on the high school and/or intercollegiate level
- prior high school coaching experience
- USATF certification
