About The Position

Strength and Conditioning Coach (High School) Opportunity: Propel Schools is seeking a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the 2026 spring varsity season (March-June). The Strength and Conditioning coach will rotate and provide support across multiple interscholastic sports programs in alignment with seasonal demands and practice schedules. The sports include but are not limited to: Track Field, Flag Football, Volleyball and Off-Season Football Training The coach will provide strength and conditioning support to the following schools: Propel Braddock Hills High School Propel Andrew St. High School Propel Montour High School Successful candidates will have: Experience developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for multiple sports, including track and field, flag football, volleyball, and off-season football Possess knowledge of strength training principles, injury prevention, conditioning strategies, and sport-specific performance development PES (Performance Enhancement Specialization) certification or equivalent Responsibility for coordinating and aligning programming with head coaches and the athletic director Prior strength and conditioning coaching experience Must possess effective coaching technique and skills Strong communication and relationship-building skills with student-athletes, coaches, and families High level of personal organization and planning A commitment to the Promising Principles of Propel Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development

Requirements

  • Experience developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for multiple sports, including track and field, flag football, volleyball, and off-season football
  • Possess knowledge of strength training principles, injury prevention, conditioning strategies, and sport-specific performance development
  • PES (Performance Enhancement Specialization) certification or equivalent
  • Prior strength and conditioning coaching experience
  • Must possess effective coaching technique and skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with student-athletes, coaches, and families
  • High level of personal organization and planning
  • A commitment to the Promising Principles of Propel
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
