About The Position

CompassCare is seeking professional caregivers to provide exceptional home care and concierge services for older adults. Our caregivers build a partnership in care that allows our clients to live an active and engaged lifestyle. Open positions: Full-time, part-time, live-in, daytime hourly and overnight hourly shifts available. Locations: Manhattan; Brooklyn; Westchester County, NY; Fairfield County, CT; and surrounding areas Rates: Hourly starting at $24 (higher rate offered for more complex cases) Live-in starting at $340 per day Overtime and holiday pay applies. Our client care is provided by a full care team, to ensure that we are delighting the client every time. Our caregivers work in partnership with the CompassCare Client Team and Office Staff to provide the best possible care for each client. Requirements

Authorized to work in the US
Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
At least one year of experience in Home Care with the Elderly (One-On-One care)
Well-spoken, with strong communication skills and excellent client service skills
HHA, CNA, PCA, or PCT Certification
CPR Certification preferred; must be willing to be certified before starting to work on a case
Kind, Optimistic, Curious, Empathetic, Dependable and professional
Passionate about working with older adults

Responsibilities

Provide concierge level care, including enrichment activities, outings, and more
Provide companionship and engagement
Provide light housekeeping & meal preparation
Follow a detailed care plan
Complete reporting to be shared with the Care Team
Assist with personal care
Provide transportation and accompany client to appointments
