About The Position

SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a HH-60 Aircraft Maintenance SME – Chief of Logistics. This position will serve as the HH-60 maintenance and logistics Subject Matter Expert supporting the USAF Big Safari Program. Provides technical oversight of maintenance, sustainment, and rapid modification of fielded HH-60 aircraft in support of specialized operations, combat rescue, and time-sensitive operational tasking. Acts as the bridge between operations, maintenance units, engineering, depots, and program offices to ensure airworthiness, availability, and mission readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and 10+ years military or DoD contractor aircraft maintenance experience; USAF flightline experience highly desired.
  • An active or previous Top Secret clearance required
  • Direct HH-60 aircraft maintenance experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting depot maintenance, sustainment, and aircraft modifications
  • Strong working knowledge of military maintenance, supply, Technical Orders, and configuration control
  • Ability to operate effectively in classified, fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Big Safari program experience.
  • Systems engineering or program management experience supporting aircraft modifications.
  • DCMA GFR/GGR qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as senior HH-60 maintenance and logistics SME within the Big Safari construct
  • Provide technical oversight for fielded aircraft, depot maintenance, sustainment, and modification efforts
  • Support scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, and rapid modifications
  • Respond to urgent fleet maintenance and aviation safety issues
  • Coordinate repair solutions beyond local maintenance authority or capability
  • Support development and modification of aircraft Technical Orders (TOs)
  • Ensure compliance with TOs, SOWs, SDRs, and airworthiness requirements
  • Support configuration management, test planning, and system integration activities
  • Participate in PDRs, CDRs, TRBs, SRBs, and FRRs
  • Provide test support as required
  • Advise the Program Manager on maintenance and logistics risks
  • Source materials and repair solutions outside standard supply channels to meet operational timelines
