About The Position

We are seeking a Hematopathologist to join our team located in Syracuse, NY providing support to clients throughout the Northeast division. Pay Range: $300,000 - $350,000 annually All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Responsibilities: Individual diagnostic evaluation and sign-out of hematopathology specimens Professional interpretation of hematopathology specimens: bone marrow and lymph node biopsies, peripheral blood smears and flow cytometry. Assure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety guidelines/standards Accurate and timely evaluation of specimens tested Assures good laboratory practice (GLP) and compliance with applicable accrediting and regulatory agencies Provide expert consultation as needed with clients and staff, in person, by phone or electronically Requirements: Medical Degree from an accredited college/university NY and NJ Licensed Physician with Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology Subspecialty training in Hematopathology highly preferred Previous experience working in a high-volume laboratory setting is desirable Organized and efficient problem solving and excellent communication skills are required, both written and verbal If you're looking for a career that offers opportunities for growth, continual development, professional challenge and the chance to make a real difference, apply today! Requirements

  • Medical Degree from an accredited college/university
  • NY and NJ Licensed Physician with Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology
  • Subspecialty training in Hematopathology highly preferred
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume laboratory setting is desirable
