About The Position
Specialty: Hematology & Oncology -NP/PA Job Type: W2 Contract Facility Location: Santa Cruz, CA Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical only Shift Schedule: 8a -5p; 5 days/week - Full -time Patient Volume: 16 -18 Support Staff: - Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Pharmacy - Liaison for oral medications, Research Coordinators, Genetic Counselors & Dedicated RN staff. Duties: - Provide expert hematology & oncology care, utilizing the co -located Infusion Center for modern treatment delivery. - Partner w/ navigators & social workers to ensure a seamless, supportive patient journey from diagnosis through survivorship. Beds in the Dept: 17 (IP) EMR: Cerner Other Info: With daily multidisciplinary rounds, weekly tumor boards, a rapid diagnosis clinic, and 2 radiation centers. Requirements
- Active CA License
- BC/BE
- DEA
- BLS
- Clean record
- Completion of an accredited post -graduate training program
