The Oncology Field Medical, Director is responsible for providing therapeutic area (TA)/product expertise, in malignant hematology and pipeline, across a broad range of medical customer segments and initiatives in an assigned territory (Texas). This role involves planning and executing medical strategy, maintaining deep knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas and Pfizer medicines, serving as a conduit for medical information and customer insights, and contributing to medical content strategy. The Director will deliver approved medical content, identify priority customer segments, respond to unsolicited medical requests, and collaborate with Global Medical Affairs and Oncology Research & Development for clinical trial site identification, including those serving under-represented patient populations. Additionally, the position supports Investigator Sponsored Research, cultivates expertise in malignant hematology, provides asset leadership, and communicates study design principles to customers. Strong territory leadership is expected, including communication with local Patient Advocacy Groups and representation of Pfizer Medical Affairs leadership with clinical/professional associations. The role also includes mentorship and participation in special projects.
