About The Position

We will provide vital services, including, cleaning, waste services, security, grounds and more. As a public hospital with clinical services provided by Peninsula Health, this facility will play a key role in supporting the community—be part of something bigger and help shape the future of healthcare in Victoria. THE POSITION Act as the first point of contact for all Soft FM service requests, ensuring accurate logging and close-out in QFM Dispatch, coordinate, and monitor jobs to ensure timely resolution and appropriate escalation Schedule and manage cleaning and waste staff, resources, and services, including last-minute changes Communicate job progress and service updates clearly with internal teams and service providers Maintain compliance with hospital policies, OH&S, infection control, privacy requirements, and participate in a 24/7 rotating roster THE PERSON Experience in a helpdesk, scheduling, or customer service role, ideally within healthcare or a complex environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach Confident using helpdesk systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Proven ability to manage high volumes of requests, prioritise effectively, and adapt to change Strong attention to detail, with Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) THE BENEFITS Work in a meaningful healthcare environment where your role directly supports patient care Gain exposure to hospital operations, facilities management, and compliance functions Ongoing training and opportunities to contribute to process improvements and SOP development Stable employment with a rotating roster offering variety and flexibility A role where no two days are the same and your organisational skills truly make a difference

Requirements

• Experience in a helpdesk, scheduling, or customer service role, ideally within healthcare or a complex environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach
• Confident using helpdesk systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office
• Proven ability to manage high volumes of requests, prioritise effectively, and adapt to change
• Strong attention to detail, with Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
