About The Position

T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. T1 Energy is looking for an entry-level Helpdesk Administrator to support T1 Energy's Automation & IT Engineering team. You'll handle the day to day IT tasks that keep the company moving, especially onboarding new hires and making sure people have the tools and access they need from day one. This role is ideal for a sharp, organized self-starter early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to real IT operations. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, learn fast, and take on increasing responsibility as the company grows.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or similar roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Early in your IT career and eager to learn.
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple requests at once.
  • Proactive - you see what needs to be done and do it.
  • Clear communicator who follows through.
  • Someone who takes pride in setting things up the right way.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or co-op experience in IT or technical support a plus.
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common productivity tools.
  • Microsoft certifications (especially for recent grads).
  • Other IT certifications a pus (CompTIA, Google IT Support, etc.)
  • Experience with identity and access management tools.
  • Experience supporting onboarding in a growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Support new hire onboarding by preparing laptops, ordering equipment, and setting up user accounts.
  • Create and manage user credentials, permissions, and access across systems and tools.
  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot laptops and basic IT equipment.
  • Track and manage incoming IT requests, making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Prioritize requests based on urgency and business impact.
  • Partner closely with engineers to support day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain clear documentation and basic IT processes.
