About The Position

Skyline Windows is a fourth generation family owned and operated business. We are best known for designing, manufacturing, and installing custom windows, window wall systems, and terrace doors. All our products are made to order based on our clients’ project specifications. From landmarks to new construction, high end residential to high volume commercial, we do it all! Position Summary: Primary duties include end user technical support, including hardware/software installation, troubleshooting, Phone support, printer support, and AV. This position is on-site and will support on-site and remote users. This position can be based in our NJ (Wood Ridge/Hasbrouck Heights) or Bronx office, but will require travel between the two. Position Summary: Provide Technical Assistance for computer hardware, software, Phones. Mobile devices and Printers/Copiers. Setup and Install Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Phones, Mobile Devices and peripheral equipment. Setup and Support Windows OS and Mobile Devices IOS and Android. Perform user account management within Active Directory and Office 365. Respond to support requests via email, phone or ticketing system. Travel to New Jersey offices (Wood Ridge) when required, flexibility to work nights and/or weekends as needed. Be willing to work outside of the standard business hours as necessary Clear, courteous and professional verbal and written skills Ability to multi-task while prioritizing service tickets accordingly Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and seek out resolution to software and hardware issues

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows OS and Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in help desk environment
  • Willingness to learn new systems and skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to be Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. High degree of integrity and trust
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information
  • Microsoft Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Requires formal training in Information Technology from an accredited technical school or college. Certificate, associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • Reliable transportation is required, as the role involves visits to NJ locations.
  • Ability to lift, pull and push 25lbs
  • Ability to bend, squat and kneel occasionally
  • Ability to ambulate around office and manufacturing facility building layouts
  • Ability to use stairs

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications preferred
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (ConnectWise Manage experience is a plus)
  • Active Directory administration
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Group Policy management
  • Exposure to security platforms (e.g., Blackpoint, SentinelOne)
  • Experience with cloud storage solutions (Egnyte, Dropbox, Box, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of remote access tools (ScreenConnect, Kaseya, LogMeIn, Microsoft RDP)
  • Basic understanding of network hardware (WAPs and switches)
  • Experience with Sage
