About The Position

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a full-time Help Desk Technician to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission: Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home. Our Help Desk Technician is an essential part of our IT team and will provide staff with on-site local support in their use of IT equipment, business applications, and networks. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware and software. Responsible for troubleshooting problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and providing end user training and assistance where required. Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Wireless Networks, and Virtual environments preferred. Ability to communicate in a professional manner, utilizing either written or oral skills. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, great telephone etiquette, computer knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations are essential. Require a minimum Associate's degree in a computer related field. The working conditions will be in a clean, well-lighted area, with sitting majority of the shift and frequent repetitive motion of the hands/wrists involved. Hours will be Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with occasional evenings and weekends and participate in an on call rotation. Full-time positions come with Madison Regional Health System's benefits package and a competitive salary.
