We're looking for an ambitious Help Desk Technician to join our growing IT team in our Philadelphia area office located in Wayne, PA. The Help Desk Technician’s primary responsibility is to provide responsive, high-quality technical support to end users and serve as the first point of contact for IT requests. In addition, they’ll lead endpoint deployment processes, including system imaging and new device rollouts. Candidates should have strong communication skills and be comfortable working with employees across departments and seniority levels.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years hands-on IT support experience in a professional environment
  • Proficiency with Windows Desktop and Server operating systems
  • Active Directory administration including user and security group management
  • Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP and common networking protocols
  • Detail oriented with strong documentation skills.
  • Candidate should be a self-starter that is comfortable working independently and learning new technology as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification
  • Server administration exposure (patching, services, basic troubleshooting)
  • Experience with PowerShell, RMM tools, imaging solutions, or Autodesk products
  • AEC industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for hardware and software support requests. Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate issues to other team members as needed.
  • Manage system imaging and endpoint deployment processes for new and replacement devices
  • Provision new employee accounts and access in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and various 3rd Party SaaS solutions
  • Maintain desktops, laptops, servers, switches, and mobile devices (including updates, drivers, and firmware) in accordance with established IT standards and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to other projects and tasks typical of a SMB IT environment.
  • Occasional day or overnight travel to branch offices for onboarding or projects is required. Must be able to reliably travel between offices as required. (Travel req. approx. 10%)
  • Respond to occasional after-hours support requests and carry out scheduled after-hours maintenance activities
