FMLA Job Summary: Tier 1 Help Desk Technician position will be under the general direction of Director of Business Integration. You will be performing skilled professional work in the management and operation of IT related duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Completion of IT Internship
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills are required. You must be able to quickly assess a situation, identify affected parties, and ask logical questions to work through issues to find and mitigate the root cause of an issue.
  • Must be able to prioritize projects and tasks.
  • Working knowledge of network and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and act on it.
  • Highly self-motivated, directed and organized

  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard or mouse, and to handle other computer components.
  • Haselden is a drug-free workplace. As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test
  • Travel to project sites as needed using company-provided vehicle.
  • Jobsites located in Colorado and Wyoming.
  • Occasional overnight lodging required.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of CSSM HTML, SQL, and Visual Basic are a plus.
  • Working knowledge of data integration and APIs is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs professional and technical work installing, maintaining, and supporting desktop computers, network equipment, mobile devices, and other hardware.
  • End-user hardware and software support in a windows-based environment.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Audit Verizon Assets for Active/Inactive devices and reassign as directed
  • Troubleshoot equipment, desktop workstations and related hardware.
  • Ability to work with minimum direction and as a team player
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Capable of using discretion and judgement in carrying out job duties
  • Flexibility/Ability to work with all departments effectively to support additional projects and workload as needed.
