If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, apply today! Summary: We are seeking a skilled and user-focused Help Desk Tech to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for resolving technical issues, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to provide outstanding customer service. Shift Schedule: Full-Time. 40 hours per week. (variable as needed) Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM On-Call Rotation Travel 2-3 weeks per year

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Help Desk Support or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with common software applications and business productivity tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols and infrastructure.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and oral forms.
  • Ability to work with end users in a respectful way in order to resolve any IT issue they may be experiencing
  • Willingness to handle occasional on-call duties.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for work.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with any of these tools and technologies is a plus, but not required: iPhones
  • Relevant Certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician)
  • Microsoft SCCM
  • Screen Connect
  • VoIP Phone Systems
  • Prior experience in information technology or systems administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Document and track reported issues, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and ensure swift problem resolution.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Educate end-users on basic troubleshooting techniques and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
