About The Position

San Luis Valley Health is seeking a Help Desk Tech to support the IT team with answering, triaging, and documenting support calls from end users. What you'll need: Qualified applicant will have a High School Diploma, some higher education preferred. Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office products and excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills required. Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred. What You'll Do: The Help Desk Tech will properly document support, repair, and project activities using a helpdesk ticketing system. Compile and organize statistics related to application support calls. Review, summarize, and categorize rounding notes from application support team. Compile and organize application team documentation into the Sharepoint environment. Responsibilities of this job may grow to perform IT maintenance and various IT project requests. As this is a front-line position with regular contact with physicians, nurses, other clinical staff and hospital employees, tact and a helpful attitude are necessary pre-requisites for a customer-service oriented environment.
